WHAT WE’RE BUILDING

A full-stack clinical AI platform, built from the ground up.

CelaHealthcare is more than a conversational interface layered over a general-purpose model. Every part of the platform, from the patient experience to the clinical intelligence and evidence behind it, is being purpose-built for infectious-disease care.

Voice First

Understanding

Real-time talk

Auto-advance

Layer 01 | The Experience

A clinical conversation patients can actually complete.

CelaHealthcare replaces long, rigid questionnaires with a more natural way to share health information.

A live AI Health Assistant guides patients through the assessment by voice, type, or tap, adapting the conversation as symptoms and responses unfold.

  • Voice-first and tap-enabled interaction

  • Medical-grade speech understanding

  • Real-time validation of spoken responses

  • Confidence-based clarification and auto-advance

  • Designed toward a 95%+ questionnaire completion target

The goal

Make it easier for patients to communicate what they are experiencing while capturing the structured information providers need.

Custom Fine-tuned

Secure host w/ AWS

Medical Accuracy

Note Synthesis

Layer 02 | The Intelligence

A clinical model built for a specific purpose.

Behind every conversation is a custom clinical AI model designed specifically to support infectious-disease assessment, follow-up, and clinical documentation.

The model operates within a private Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, where patient information remains inside a controlled, HIPAA-compliant infrastructure.

  • Custom fine-tuned and instruction-tuned clinical model

  • Securely hosted within Amazon Web Services

  • Medical accuracy that is clinically-aligned

  • AI-generated follow-up based on patient responses

  • Clinician-ready note synthesis

  • Built-in content filtering, Personally Identifiable Information (PII) masking, with safeguards

The goal

Turn patient conversations into clinically structured, key information while maintaining rigorous controls around accuracy, privacy, and safety.

Layer 03 | The Evidence

A medical knowledge engine built to focus the intelligence.

CelaHealthcare is supported by a private, searchable clinical library designed to bring relevant medical evidence into the assessment process.

Two dedicated knowledge bases, one for licensed literature and one for quality-directed open-access literature, provide the model with relevant, filterable evidence at the time it is needed.

With patient consent, the platform can also incorporate additional health context from:

  • Apple Health

  • Android Health

  • Bluetooth-enabled personal health devices

  • Accessible to providers utilizing SMART on FHIR health records

These sources give the platform access to clinical context and datasets that may sit outside the reach of many general-purpose AI systems.

The goal

Focus clinical intelligence in relevant medical evidence and a more complete picture of the patient.

THE NEED

Closing the infectious-disease access gap.

For patients in rural and underserved communities, specialized care may be hours away. That can mean longer waits, more travel, delayed access to care, and greater pressure on the providers and health systems already serving these communities.

CelaHealthcare is being built to help close that gap by making infectious-disease information more accessible wherever patients are, while giving healthcare providers structured clinical information to support faster, more informed review.

Abstract Background

79%

of U.S. counties have no infectious-disease physician

20%

projected U.S. physician shortage by 2030

15,700

estimated unmet need for infectious-disease specialists

~1.1M

current U.S. physician and nursing workforce shortfall

17%

of home-healthcare unplanned admissions are infectious-disease related

$4.5B

estimated obtainable U.S. market across CelaHealthcare’s two primary targets

HOW IT WORKS

From “I don’t feel right” to a provider-ready report.

Cele Healthcare Screenshot
Cele Healthcare Screenshot

Step 1

Talk to our AI Health Assistant.

The patient opens the app and has a natural interactive voice conversation with a clinical AI avatar. Clinically authored questions adapt in real time to symptoms; answers can be spoken, typed, or tapped.

Cele Healthcare Screenshot
Cele Healthcare Screenshot

Step 2

The AI listens like a clinician.

Every answer is validated for intent and confidence. Ambiguity triggers a gentle confirmation; questions from the patient get answered; off-topic tangents are acknowledged and redirected. Symptoms are medically translated as the patient speaks.

Cele Healthcare Screenshot
Cele Healthcare Screenshot

Step 3

Evidence-grounded analysis.

The custom clinical model cross-references the patient’s responses, plus connected wearable and other devices that provide important health data against curated, peer-reviewed literature. This information produces insights and indicator scores across many infectious-disease categories.

Cele Healthcare Screenshot

Step 4

Intelligent follow-up.

After clinically appropriate intervals, the patient is prompted to check back in or in certain cases the system will purposefully reach out to the patient. AI-generated follow-up questions, curated by the custom model, track symptom evolution. Custom follow-up questions are generated as needed throughout the patients disease journey. This is the loop that most often never closes.

Step 5

Routed and facilitated care.

The healthcare provider receives a detailed, patient-friendly, medically coded report with key information to facilitate final diagnosis. De-identified data simultaneously strengthens real-time epidemiology reporting.

Cela Appointment

OUR STORY

Built for a more proactive future of care.

CelaHealthcare was founded by healthcare industry veterans with deep experience in clinical operations, healthcare technology, and AI engineering, along with a formal collaboration with the Texas A&M University System.

The idea behind CelaHealthcare is simple. General-purpose AI was not built for the complexity of infectious-disease care.

Trust in healthcare requires more than a good answer. It requires clinically designed workflows, reliable medical evidence, strong safeguards, and technology built around the needs of both patients and providers.

That is why CelaHealthcare is building the full platform from the ground up, including the patient experience, clinical model, data infrastructure, evidence engine, and safeguards.

Shift healthcare from reactive to proactive and reduce time to care for every patient, everywhere.

WHY CELAHEALTHCARE

Where General-Purpose AI Can’t Go.

1. The only infectious-disease-specific healthcare AI.

Competitors are generalist symptom checkers. CHC is a specialist and the architecture expands to additional disease verticals on the same platform.

2. A proprietary evidence engine.

Peer-reviewed publisher content + quality-filtered open literature, continuously monitored, statistically scored. The corpus and the de-identified epidemiology data flywheel it feeds compounds with every assessment. This approach is unavailable to a ChatGPT or WebMD.

3. The follow-up loop.

Assessment → timed re-engagement → AI follow-up → provider routing. Individual touch at global scale, almost no competitor closes this loop.

4. Statistically driven triage facilitating clinician diagnosis.

Evidence-based flows authored with practicing ID and primary-care providers.

5. Proprietary Technology.

Provisional patent filed; non-provisional in progress.

6. Voice-first accessibility.

Patients who can’t or won’t type through 60 questions can simply speak in their own language.
